SEASON 2008

I - INTRODUCTION

Want to get your mobile home working for you to generate a healthy income? We are here to try and help you achieve this.

This year, for the first time, we are offering you the possibility to let your mobile home. We wish to keep the process as simple as possible so that everyone benefits. As this is a new venture we will obviously be monitoring things closely and may well make changes next year in the light of experiences gained this season.

The detailed terms and conditions are contained in Part 2 below but, in essence, Hermé-Loisirs will take on all the administration and letting of your van for 50% of the rental income, out of which we will also pay all the VAT at 19.6%.  The rest is yours. Provided your van and pitch are smart and tidy and you provide the right inventory, then off we go.

II - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The obligations of Hermé-Loisirs and yourself, as the mobile home owner, are detailed below.

Hermé-Loisirs is responsible for:

• All advertising and promotions
• All correspondence with visitors including all enquiries and bookings
• Reception of visitors including: issue of car pass, information pack and inventory check on the takeover of your van.
• Collection of all monies on owner’s behalf
• Dealing with visitors’ queries and problems during their stay.
• Checking van on departure of visitors and arranging cleaning of van and washing of duvet and pillow covers.
• Renewing gas cylinders when empty and carrying out minor repairs. We will notify you in advance if any major costs are involved.
• We pay for: all advertising and admin costs, cleaning the van on march out, washing of bed linen (duvet and pillow covers) and VAT.
• The initial inspection and categorisation of your van (see Part 4 below) prior to the first let.
• Payment of commission cheque to the mobile home owner each month.

The Owner is responsible for ensuring:

• Your van is of smart appearance inside and out prior to letting in line with the appropriate grading.
• Your van is adequately insured against loss, damage and third party liability while let.
• Your van is fully equipped and stocked as per the inventory
• All appliances  have a valid test certificate
• Two sets of keys, tagged with your name and van number, are handed into reception prior to inspection.
• The owner is responsible for the following costs: establishing the initial inventory and replacing breakages, replacement gas bottles, electricity, breakages and repairs to van.
• All outstanding bills are settled in full prior to subletting your van.

 III - INVENTORY

The inventory required for your van is detailed at Annex A. For china an cutlery, please provide enough to cater for the maximum number of people who can be accommodated in your van with some spares. Please note that any other personal effects left in your van are done so at owner’s risk.

IV - CHARGES 2008 SEASON, PAYMENT TERMS, VAN CATEGORISATION

The charges for the 2008 season are attached at Annex B. Prior to your van being let, it will be inspected for cleanliness as mentioned above. It will also be categorised “platinum”, “gold” or “silver” based on its size (two or three bedroom), location (lakeside or other) and terrace (with or without).

V - NEXT STEPS

If you now wish to proceed with letting your mobile home, please complete the “Application to Sublet” form (Annex C) and the “Subletting Calendar 2008” (Annex D) showing the dates when you would like to sublet your van and send or email them to Hermé-Loisirs c/o Reception.

Then get your inventory in order and organise your gas and electrical safety tests.

ANNEX A
INVENTORY

Enclose is an Inventory of all the standard equipment required in your caravan prior to letting. These must be all immaculate. For china, cutlery please provide enough for the maximum number that can be accommodated – plus 2 extra !

We will inspect your caravan prior to subletting and if everything is ok your detail will go on-line immediately.

HOLIDAYS CHARGES 2008
(Prices are per mobil-home per week)

Payment terms :
Settlement in full 4 weeks prior to start of holiday.
Payment can be made by cheque, cash, credit card or bank transfer
In the event of late bookings, cheques can only be accepted a minimum of 2 weeks prior to holiday date.
