EASTER WEEKEND 2008
With Easter being so early this year, the weather was always going to be problematic. And so it proved to be - a mixed bag of rain, hail and even a few snow flakes.
However there were also patches of bright blue sky and even some sun. Fortunately, these seemed to occur just at the right moment for the outdoor activities, such as the Easter egg hunt, fishing competition, bike rides and the “boules” training.
I would very much like to thank all those, young and not so young, who took part so enthusiastically in these events, as well as the organisers, in particular, Jean-Paul L’ Hénoret for the “boules” training and Claude Duncas for his briefing on fishing and organising the fishing competition. And last, but far from least, Géraldine and Pascal for their fine cuisine and excellent hospitality in the bar / restaurant.
